1.       How does the main character, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, compare to the other main characters (Ivan Martin and Derrick Thompson) in the first two films we saw?
I think he is like a hero but more like in a “Robin Hood” way. That means that it’s not completly like Derrick, because it’s not 100% politically correct (you can say he stole technically). Maybe some people don’t agree with stealing whom stole you, but I think it’s fine. I also think that Leroy fights for what he wants just like Ivan, but they took different paths.   
2.       Did you like or dislike the film? Why/Why Not?
I kinda like it. While the end is somewhat strange, I like the fact that it was a “win”. It’s not a complex movie, the performance was not that memorable, but at least when they were recovering/stealing stuff, they weren’t violent so that is Good.
3.       In conclusion to our Jamaican film unit, which was your favorite film of all 3? Why?
I liked Ghett'a Life the most. It had the best performances, most complex characters and it had women participating (not in the way I like but it was something). The bad things were the cliche plot and bad music, but that it’s not enough to me to put the other ones above. That doesn’t mean I didn’t like the other two, they were good.

    Despite it's not a right way to do justice, the final scene was the righteous way to reach it, Horsemouth and friends stealing from the ones who stole him in the first place. And giving away the goods and items they stole, like a jamaican Robin Hood and his gang.

1 Who was your favorite character (s) from the film? Why? Same as the last film, I think my favorite character is the protagonist, Derrick. But in this case, the film was way more complex and Derrick showed that. He was very persistent and commited to his dream (be the best at boxing). That means that he saw politics as something not worth dying for, cause it was causing so much pain to the people (without any benefit at all). So his determination and results reunited both (principal) political parties, PNP and JLP (will talk later about them), people to watch his fights. Also honorable mentions to his mom, Dawn Thompson, who not only supported his son, but was a woman that had the courage to overcome (or at least try) sexism and patriarchy. The Harder They Come Film Review

1. In general, what did you like and dislike about the film? One of the things that makes this film a good film (to me at least) is the jamaican life representation. I mean, the presence of common places/buildings, enviroment, music, religion, etc. made by actual jamaicans. It's like "teleseries" from south america, where through drama they show different topics about life (and that makes you feel identified -depending of which character and plot of course-). Music is key on this film, because it showed that they could create talented and original art despite the lack of resources they had. An aspect that I did not like was that sometimes the film feels a little too slow, and some scenes contributed nothing to the plot and felt kinda illogical (like the main character getting away from a group of policemen without getting any damage.
